Biography, education, career:
In 2007 Natalia Golant defended her Candidate Dissertation at Saint-Petersburg University; it was titled The March Ritual Complex of Romanians and Bulgarians in the Ethnocultural Tradition of the Carpathian–Balkan Region. N. Golant successively occupied the positions of assistant and junior researcher at the Department for Register and Specialized Storage of the Russian Museum of Ethnography (2000–2003); researcher at the Department of Modern Ethnography and Ethnographic Museology of the RME (2003–2007); researcher at the Department of Ethnography of Byelorussians, Ukrainians and Moldovans, RME (2007–2008); and researcher at the Department of Europe of the MAE RAS.
