Biography, education, career:
In 1980 Elena Godina defended her Candidate Dissertation, titled Morphological Traits and Growth Regularities in Children and Teenagers Born and Raised at High Altitudes in Kirgizia. In 2001 she defended her Doctoral Dissertation, titled The Dynamics of Growth and Development in Human: Spatial and Temporal Aspects. From 1963 she successively occupied the positions of senior assistant, junior researcher, senior researcher, and leading researcher at the Research Institute and Museum of Anthropology named after D.N. Anuchin of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov. From 2003 E. Godina is Head of the Department of Anatomy and Biological Anthropology of Russian State University of Physical Education, Sport, Youth, and Tourism.
