Biography, education, career:
In 1995 defended his Candidate’s Dissertation at the Institute of Ethnography of the USSR Academy of Sciences; it was titled Religious and Mythological Beliefs of the Russians in the 19th – 20th Centuries: Mapping. Since 2001 he occupies the position of Associate Professor at the Department of History of the Middle Ages and Foreign Slavic peoples. He is also a leading engineer of the academic scientific Laboratory of Ethnography of Central Black Earth Regions of Russia, Voronezh State University.
