Biography, education, career:
On 27 December 1984 Vladimir Dyachenko defended his Candidate’s Dissertation at the Leningrad Branch of the Institute of Ethnography and Anthropology of the USSR Academy of Sciences; it was titled Southern Groups of Yakuts. Features of Economic and Cultural Development in the 19th – early 20th Centuries. Since 2002 he is a senior researcher of the MAE.
