Biography, education, career:
On 31 January 1975, at Leningrad State University, Svetlana Biche-ool defended her Candidate Dissertation, titled Traditional Matrimonial Relations of Tuvinians and Their Transformations in Relation to Socialist Transition in Tuva. Since 2008 she was a leading research fellow of the Department of History at Tuvan Institute of Humanities Research. Honoured Scientist of the Tyva Republic.
