Biography, education, career:
On 17 December 1966 Marianna Devlet defended her Candidate’s Dissertation, titled The Tribes of the Middle Yenisey Basin in the Early Iron Age. On 25 February 1983 she defended her Doctoral Dissertation, titled The Petroglyphs of the Yenisey. From 1987 she worked as a leading researcher at the Department of the Bronze Age of the Institute of Archaeology of the USSR AS. She also occupied the positions of Scientific Secretary of the Institute of Archaeology, RAS, and Head of the Centre for PaleoArt Studies.
