Biography, education, career:
In 2002 Andrey Gromov defended his Candidate’s Dissertation, titled Anthropology of the Okunev Population of Southern Siberia (the Bronze Age). From 2005 he is a senior researcher at the Department of Physical Anthropology of the MAE RAS.
