Biography, education, career:

Moisey Grinblat worked at the Byelorussian Department of the People’s Commissariat for Education of the Byelorussian SSR (1920). From 1930 he worked at the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus: at the Institute of History (1931—1941; 1945—1956) and the Institute of Linguistics, Ethnography, and Folklore (1957—1976). He also taught at Minsk Pedagogical Institute (1937—1941) and Belarusian State University (1939—1941). M. Grinbalt had a degree of Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor. He is one of the authors of the two-volume (Vol.1, 1961) and five-volume (Vol.1, 1972) History of Byelorussian SSR («Гiсторыi Беларускай ССР»).
