Zoriktuev Bulat Radnaevich

Biography, education, career:
In 1983 Bulat Zoriktuev defended his Candidate’s Dissertation in Irkutsk State University; it was titled Daily Life of a Modern Buryat Village. In 1997 he defended his Doctoral Dissertation, titled Cisbaikalia and Transbaikalia from mid-6th to early 17th Century. In 1976‑2000 he successively occupied the positions of junior researcher, researcher, senior researcher, and leading researcher at the Institute of Mongolian, Buddhist and Tibetan Studies, Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Ulan-Ude. Presently, he is a leading researcher at the Department of History and Culture of Central Asia of the Institute of Mongolian, Buddhist and Tibetan Studies, SB RAS.
