Biography, education, career:

In 1949 Tatyana Zlatkovskaya defended her Candidate’s Dissertation, titled Moesia in the 1st – 2nd Centuries AD (Economic and Social Development). In 1972 she defended her Doctoral Dissertation, titled The Emergence of the Thracian State in the 7th – 5th Centuries BC. In 1956‑1957 she occupied the position of Assistant Professor at the Department of Ancient History of the Faculty of History, Moscow State Pedagogical named after V.P. Potyomkin. In 1949‑1954 she was a guest editor of the Archaeology and Ethnography Division of the Publishing House of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR. In 1954‑1956 she occupied the position of senior bibliographer at the Fundamental Library of Moscow State University. In 1969‑1981 she worked as a senior researcher at the Institute of Ethnography of the USSR AS.
