Biography, education, career:
On November, 1966 Kocheshkov defended his dissertation for the degree of candidate of art history, titled Contemporary Mongolian folk art and its artistic traditions, on February 10, 1981 – the Doctoral Dissertation, titled Ethnic traditions in the decorative art of the Mongolian peoples of the Mongolian People's Republic and the USSR (19th - mid 20th century) at the Institute of Economics of the USSR Academy of Sciences in Moscow. Since 1966 he successfully occupied the positions of lecturer at the Far Eastern Pedagogical Institute of Arts in Vladivostok (1966-1967), senior researcher at the Department of History, Archeology and Ethnography of the Far Eastern Branch of the USSR Academy of Sciences (since 1971 the Institute of History, Archeology and Ethnography of the Peoples of the Far East of the Far Eastern Scientific Center of the USSR Academy of Sciences).
