Biography, education, career:
In 1995 Valentina Gazdanova defended her Candidate Dissertation, titled Traditional Social Institutions in the Public Consciousness of Ossetians in the 19th Century. In 1990‑1998 she was a researcher and in 1998‑2006 – a senior researcher at North Ossetian Institute for Humanities and Social Studies.
