Biography, education, career:
In 1978 Nadezhda Dubova received her degree of Candidate of Sciences in Biology from the Dissertation Council of the Scientific Research Institute and Museum of Anthropology of MSU for her Candidate’s Dissertation titled Anthropological Composition of the Population of Northern Tadzhikistan and Ethnogenetic Problems of the Central Asian Region. In 2002 she defended her Doctoral Dissertation at the Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology of RAS; it was titled The Correlation of Biological and Sociocultural Differentiation of Humanity (on the example of the Peoples of Central Asia, the North Caucasus and the Transurals Region). Since 2008 she is Head of the Department of Ethnic Ecology of the Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology of RAS.
