Biography, education, career:

On December 12, 1968 Kile defended his Candidate’s Dissertation, titled Imaginative words in the Nanai language. Since 1964 he successfully occupied the positions of junior researcher at the Institute for History, Philology and Philosophy of the Siberian Branch of the USSR Academy of Sciences (Novosibirsk) (1964‑1971), senior researcher at the Institute for History, Archeology and Ethnography of the Peoples of the Far East of the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (1971-1999).

Areas of expertise: History and ethnography of the peoples of Siberia, the Extreme North, and the Far East; Folklore studies; Linguistics, ethnography and folklore of the Nanais
