Biography, education, career:
In 1986 Kochakova defended her Candidate’s Dissertation, titled City-states of Yoruba. Social system on the eve of colonization, in 1990 – the Doctoral Dissertation, titled, The Birth of African Civilization at the Institute of Ethnology and Anthopology. Since 1966 she has successfully occupied the positions of junior researcher, senior researcher and leading Researcher at The Institute for African Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
