In 1982 Olga Artemova defended her candidate dissertation titled Personality and Social Norms among Australian Aborigines; in 2004 she defended her doctoral dissertation titled Hunters and Collectors: A Cross-Cultural Study of Social Systems (based on Australian, African and South-African Materials).
