Biography, education, career:
On 11 July 1950 Irina Grozdova defended her Candidate’s Dissertation, titled Ethnic Composition of the Netherlands in the Light of Ethnographic Data. In 1966‑1980 she was a senior researcher at the Department of Europe of the Institute of Ethnography of the USSR Academy of Sciences. I. Grozdova was an experienced field researcher.
