Biography, education, career:
In 1946‑1951 Tamara Ganyushkina was a student of the Department of African Studies and Egyptology of the Faculty of Oriental Languages, Leningrad State University. In 1951‑1956 she worked as a tour guide at Leningrad sightseeing tour agency. In 1957‑1972 she was a senior research engineer and in 1972‑1978 – junior researcher at the Department of Cultural Education / of Museums of the Leningrad Branch of the Institute of Ethnography of the USSR Academy of Sciences.
