Biography, education, career:
In 1965, at the Institute of Ethnography of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, Nail’ Bikbulatov defended his Candidate Dissertation, titled Applied and Decorative Arts of the Bashkir: Decorative Weaving, Embroidery, Applique. In 1992 1996 Bikbulatov was a leading research fellow at the Institute of History, Language, and Literature of the Ural Scientific Centre, RAS. He is one of the founders of the Museum of Archaeology and Ethnography in Ufa.
