Bgazhnokov Barasbi Khachimovich

Biography, education, career:
In 1974 Barasbi Bgazhnokov defended his Candidate Dissertation, titled Psycholinguistic Problems of Communication, with A.A. Leontyev as his academic advisor. In 1984 he defended his Doctoral Dissertation at the Institute of Ethnography of the USSR Academy of Sciences, titled The Culture of Communication and Ethnos. In 2007 – June 2014 B. Bgazhnokov occupied the position of Director of Kabardino-Balkar Institute for Humanities Research. Presently, he is Head of the Department of Ancient History and Archaeology, Editor-in-Chief of Bulletin of Kabardino-Balkar Institute for Humanities Research (Vestnik Kabardino-Balkarskogo Instituta Gumanitarnykh Issledovaniy) and the periodical Archaeology and Ethnology of Northern Caucasus (Arkheologiya I Etnologiya Severnogo Kavkaza).
