Biography, education, career:

On 20 May 1966 Akhat Zagidullin defended his Candidate’s Dissertation at Moscow State University; it was titled Family Life of Tatar Peasants of the North-Western regions of the Tatar ASSR (2nd half of the 19th – 1st half of the 20th centuries). In 1967‑1968 he was a junior researcher at the Institute of Language, Literature and History of the Kazan Branch of the USSR AS.
