Biography, education, career:
In 1991 in the MAE he defended his Candidate’s Dissertation titled Stavropol Turkmen (The history of the formation and features of culture). Since 1983 he worked at the Leningrad part of the Institute of Ethnography of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR (MAE RAS).
