Biography, education, career:
On defending her Candidate’s Dissertation on 26 November 1985, Larisa Ivleva was awarded the Degree of Candidate of Sciences in Art History’s. The dissertation was titled Pre-Theatrical Play Language of Russian Folklore. Problems of Theory and Typology. In 1975-1995 she successively occupied the positions of senior assistant (1975‑1985), junior researcher (1985‑1988), senior researcher (1988‑1995) and Head of the Department of Folklore at Leningrad State Institute of Theatre, Music and Cinematography / Russian Institute of Art History.
