Biography, education, career:
In 2009 Dmitry Ivanov defended his Dissertation for the Degree of Candidate of Sciences in History, titled Buddhist Cult Items in the Culture of Mongolian Peoples in the 18th – 1st Half of the 19th Centuries in MAE RAS Collections: History of the Collections, Attribution, Peculiar Features of the Style. Since 1998 he has successively occupied the positions of Assistant Curator of the funds of the Department of East and Southeast Asia, MAE RAS, Chief Specialist and Senior Curator of the funds of the Department of East and Southeast Asia, MAE RAS.
