Biography, education, career:

In 1913‑1921 Mikhail Gremyatskiy occupied the position of Director of Pyatigorsk Institute of Biology. In 1921‑1923 he was a lecturer at the Department of Zoology of Golitsyn Agricultural Courses. In 1923‑1933 he was a lecturer and in 1933‑1963 – Head of the Department of Anthropology of the Faculty of Biology, Moscow State University. Also, in 1923‑1930 he was a researcher and in 1930‑1931 – Director of the Institute of Anthropology, Moscow State University. In 1935 he was awarded the degree of Doctor of Sciences in Biology (without defense) and appointed Full Professor.
