Biography, education, career:
In 2000 Rimma Gavrilyeva defended her Candidate Dissertation, titled Clothing of the Sakha People in late 17th – mid 18th Centuries: An Ethnographic Reconstruction. In 2000‑2002 she was a researcher at the Centre for Ethnological Research, Institute for Humanities Research of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
