Boronoev lkhan (Alexander) Olzonovich

Biography, education, career:
In 1968 Ilkhan Boronoev defended his Candidate Dissertation, titled Methodological Issues in Research on National Psychology, with A.A. Satybalov as his academic advisor. In 1980 he defended his Doctoral Dissertation, titled The Formation and Development of Unified Patterns of Life of Peoples and Nations During the Socialist Period. In 1986-1990 he was Head of the Department of Philosophy for Faculties of Humanities, Leningrad State University. In 1989-2000 he was Dean organizer and Dean of the Faculty of Sociology. Since 1990 he is Head of the Department of the Theory and History of Sociology, SPSU.
