Biography, education, career:
On 27 June 2003 Lyubov Borina defended her Candidate Dissertation, titled The Formation of Ethnic Identity of the Shors (Second Half of the 19th-20th Centuries). Since 1986 Borina has taught at Kuzbass State Pedagogical Academy.
Areas of expertise: History and ethnography of the peoples of Siberia, the Extreme North, and the Far East; History and ethnography of Turkic peoples; formation and functioning of ethnic identity, folk calendars, urban anthropology, history of social thought
