Biography, education, career:

Bolo Sesen Dyachkovsky was born to the family of a well-off Yakut. In 1925-1931 he collected folklore and ethnographic materials by himself. In 1934-1937 he worked as an instructor for the Bureau of Regional Studies and the Society for the Studies of Yakut ASSR. In 1937-1946 he was a research fellow at the Institute of Language and Culture of the Council of People’s Commissars of Yakut ASSR.
