Biography, education, career:
On 22 June 1993 Snezhana Bokarius defended her Candidate Dissertation, titled Marriage Rituals of Lusatians: Ethnocultural Aspects of Assimilation. In 1990 1997 she was a junior research scientist of the Department for European Studies of Leningrad Branch of The Institute of Ethnography, Academy of Sciences of the USSR (since 1991 – MAE RAS).
