Biography, education, career:

In 1954 Malich Autlev defended his candidate dissertation titled The Communist Party as the Mastermind and Organizer of the German Defeat at Stalingrad (academic advisor – D.M. Kukin); in 1987 he defended his doctoral dissertation titled CPSU’s Historical Experience of Administering Lenin’s National Policy in the North Caucasus in 1920-1929.

Areas of expertise: History and ethnography of the peoples of the North and South Caucasus; history and ethnography of the Adyghe (Circassians)
