Biography, education, career:

On 3 February 1968 Yulia Argudyaeva defended her candidate dissertation titled Domestic Life of the Workers of Temlyuisk Cement-Slate Plant in Buryat Autonomous Soviet Republic in Relation to the Life of the Neighbouring Rural Population. On 9 February 2002 she defended her doctoral dissertation titled Old Believers in the Far East of Russia: Ethnocultural Development in the 2nd half of the 19th – early 20th centuries.
