In 2003 she defended her Doctoral Dissertation, titled ''Verkhovna Rada in 1991-2001 (Historical Development of the Modern Parliamentarism in Ukraine)''. In 1983‑1998 she was junior researcher / researcher at the Institute of Ethnography of the USSR Academy of Sciences / Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology of RAS.
