In 2013, at the Institute for the History of Material Culture, RAS, Stanislav Belsky defended his Candidate Dissertation, titled ''Sepulchral Monuments of the Karelian Isthmus and the Northern Part of Lake Ladoga Basin (The Chronology of Material Culture Complexes)''. Presently, he is a Senior Fellow of MAE RAS (Kunstkammer). Since 2015 – postdoctoral student at the Faculty of Humanities, Turku University, Finland.
